Lost and found
Have you lost an item, or did you find something, for example keys, a wallet or a mobile phone? Then you can report this on the website www.verlorenofgevonden.nl. There you can register lost property and retrieve lost items.
Did you find something?
Then you do not have to bring it to the municipality. You simply report it to www.verlorenofgevonden.nl. Your personal data are only visible to the municipality that manages the administration. Keep the found object at home and make sure it stays in the same condition as when you found it.
If the owner finds the object on the same website, he will receive your contact details via that website and he will contact you. Does the owner of the item not contact you? Then it becomes your property after the legal storage period of 1 year.
