Corona testing

Get yourself tested for coronavirus and stay home if you have one or more of the following symptoms:

  • > 37.5 °C;
  • shortness of breath;
  • sudden loss of taste or smell;
  • coughing;
  • sneezing;
  • snotty nose;
  • sore throat.

This can be done with a self-test (available at supermarkets and drugstores) and free of charge at the GGD (call 0800-1202). Do you have coronavirus? Then stay at home until you no longer have any symptoms. This prevents you from infecting others as well.

Corona vaccine

A corona vaccine protects you against coronavirus. The vaccine is injected into your upper arm. The vaccine prevents you from getting (seriously) ill. In the Netherlands, everyone from the age of 5 is eligible for the vaccine.

It is possible to have yourself vaccinated at the GGD vaccination streets. You can just come by without an appointment for a vaccination. This is possible at the GGD vaccination location in Helmond at Haverdijk 11. You can visit here on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 09:00 to 16:30.
